functional mobility assessment

Musculoskeletal injuries occur when the demands of a physical activity exceed the capacity of your soft tissue or joints. Whether or not you are in pain, assessing mobility is essential to identifying areas that may be at higher risk for injury or hindering performance. Once these areas have been identified, Dr. Keenan will provide you with tailor-made strategies to prevent injury and improve performance.

x-Ray requisition

After an assessment has been conducted, sometimes further investigation is required to gain more information. For instance, if you've sustained a traumatic shoulder injury, it may be useful to rule out a bone fracture or joint dislocation. Dr. Keenan can provide you with an x-ray requisition, allowing you to directly visit an imaging facility without referral from your family physician. This eliminates wait times and greatly improves efficiency.

During each follow-up visit, Dr. Keenan will perform a re-assessment in order to track progress and fine tune your treatment plan.
